SKINNY JEANS

NYDJ

SPLURGE: NYDJ Ami Skinny. “While leggings can certainly be a girl’s best friend (and saving grace), at some point you need to let go of the lycra. Well, kind of. These NYDJ Ami Skinny maternity jeans are the next best thing. They have been a staple in my maternity wardrobe rotation from week 12 until now. I’m 33 weeks in, and they still feel as soft, stretchy and comfy as day one!” ~ KAITY $168, buy here

hm super skinny

SAVE: H&M MAMA Super Skinny Jeans. “Nothing fancy, just a super comfy, super stretchy pair of skinny jeans from H&M that proved me wrong: I can sport a bowling ball AND keep on wearing my beloved skinnies. Bonus point for the fact that I didn’t have to break the bank to stay true to my style all pregnancy long.” ~ CHARLENE $34.99, buy here

WHITE JEANS

SPLURGE: Isabella Oliver Zadie Stretch Maternity Skinny Jeans. “Before baby number 2 arrives, I’m taking full advantage of a few more weeks of one less set of grimy little hands and jump on the white jean trend. These Zadie Stretch Jeans by Isabella Oliver are chic and versatile and are a great length for this 5’3 mama.” ~ KAITY $159, buy here

old navy white jeans

SAVE: Old Navy Maternity Full-Panel Stay-White Rockstar Jeans. “I rarely wear white and figured I’d use this pregnancy as an excuse to get a little more “adventurous” in the fashion department. I’m glad I did. These Old Navy Maternity Stay-White Rockstar Jeans come with a full belly panel, which has made them ultra comfy for my growing bump; and the Stay-White technology actually repels spills and stains — which means I don’t have to worry about my toddler’s dirty mits clinging onto my legs after a long spring sesh’ at the playground. Also, they have a skinny fit, so that makes me happy (happier).” ~ CHARLENE $42.94, buy here

OVERALLS

hatch overall

SPLURGE: HATCH Easy Denim Overall. “I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time this pregnancy drooling over HATCH Collection’s latest and great maternity releases, and while some pieces are a little less practical, I’ve rationalized The Easy Denim Overall as a completely, well, rational spend. They have enough room to grow all three trimesters and are super soft. Plus, you can dress them up or down.” ~ KAITY $378, buy here.

ASOS overall

SAVE: ASOS Maternity Denim Overall in Washed Black: “For some reason, I shied away from overalls during my first pregnancy. But not this time! I’ve seriously lived in overalls for the past seven months, and I love it — it’s easy on the bump; and it weirdly takes me back to my teenage years, when I insisted on wearing them even though they were totally uncool. Except this time, they make me feel stylish and super cute. These ASOS maternity denim overalls, in particular, have a boyfriend cut that gives me an edge and keeps me on trend. Plus, they’re under $100. Score!” ~ CHARLENE $67, buy here

DISTRESSED JEANS

madewell maternity jeans

SPLURGE: Madewell Skinny Jeans in Lorelei Wash. “I can’t say it enough: I love skinny jeans, and I am so happy that I get to keep wearing them throughout my pregnancy. But this distressed pair from Madewell takes it to a whole new level. I love the dark indigo wash and the hand-placed rips. They honestly make me feel more fashionable now than when I wasn’t expecting. Plus, with the very discreet elastic side insets, no one knows I’m actually sporting a maternity piece. So who knows, maybe I’ll keep wearing them after baby is born…” ~ CHARLENE $138, buy here

destination maternity boyfriend jeans

SAVE: Destination Maternity Secret Fit Belly Destructed Boyfriend Maternity Jeans. “Once spring rolled around and I hit my third trimester, I began missing my non-maternity denim collection big time. These Secret-Fit Belly destructed jeans are a great option that not only stay put on my belly (yay!), but look cute and are the perfect third-trimester price point!” ~ KAITY $24.97, buy here

DENIM SHORTS

joe's denim shorts

SPLURGE: Joe’s Jeans Secret Fit Belly Markie Maternity Shorts at A Pea in the Pod. “I’m not a shorty shorts kind of gal, but let’s face it, summer is coming, and I’ll soon need to give my legs some room to breathe — especially now that I’m pregnant and getting hot so easily. So buh-bye jeans, and hello shorts! Paired with a white tee and a classic pair of Stan Smiths, these relaxed shorts from Joe’s will keep me cool (in both senses of the word) as the temperatures rise.” ~CHARLENE $118, buy here

a:glow bermuda shorts

SAVE: Kohl’s a:glow Bermuda Jeans Shorts. “So maybe it’s selective memory, but one of the things that has caught me off guard during this pregnancy is the rate at which my butt and thighs have grown in solidarity with my belly! These A:glow Bermuda jean shorts are the perfect fit and length to keep me cool yet covered in those places I’d rather keep all to myself.” ~KAITY $29.99, buy here

  1. This was a disappointing article, it is incomplete! I am looking for jeans, not overalls from the 80’s or daisy dukes! And skinny jeans are not flattering for a shapely pregnant woman or anyone above 95 lbs. Where are the boot cut, flare, straight leg, boyfriend styles? Just because of the leggings obsession doesn’t mean everyone needs to be saran wrapped in their clothing!
