In the early morning hours, you’ll frequently find me in the hallway of our apartment building-baby balanced on one hip – dropping off my husband and six year old at the elevator. That’s because my oldest insists on a somewhat elaborate goodbye ritual. Fist bump, high five, big hug, big kiss! Sometimes, the baby will scramble down the hallway so he can pull himself up on the floor to ceiling windows that overlook the park next door. Yesterday, we all sat together taking in the colorful blaze of leaves that are always so late to arrive in the city. Of course, they’ll be gone before we know it. So get to the park this weekend to enjoy the change in seasons, and don’t miss the chance to snap a few pics of you and your bumps. They’ll make a lovely memento of this time in your life years from now.
