Shop Talk

Cute Attack owner Liza Dare talks about her new online shop and rounds up her 5 current faves for mama and baby.

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again: Cute Attack is, by far, one of our favorite destinations for gifting Brooklyn babies. And while we love having this Williamsburg treasure as that trick up our sleeves, we like to think we’re good at sharing. That’s why we’re so stoked that Cute Attack owner Liza Dare has officially launched her online shop, filled with goodies you can send straight to your friend and her new baby… anywhere.

Like the brick and mortar version, Cute Attack’s online shop is easy on the eyes. “What was most important for me when designing the website was capturing the store’s unique personality while staying clean and user-friendly. The first drafts were shabby chic (which I loved), but I decided to let the logo and super-cute merchandise shine, “ says Dare. After doing a little shopping, online visitors can also check out the Cute Attack blog, with designer spotlights, DIY projects, and photos of some seriously cute — and pint-size — customers, says Dare.

To make gift-giving a breeze, Dare is working on a “For Moms” section online. While we wait (patiently!), she tells us exactly what she’s gifting her new mama friends with. Here are Dare’s picks for five matching mama-baby gifts for that new dynamic duo in your life.
