How would you describe your pregnant style?
Feminine Chic, I love showing off all my curves in a soft but sexy way.

Have you had any challenges learning to dress your body during pregnancy?
My breasts grew a cup size a week in the second month, I started with a double D so going to an H cup in a month was a challenge for sure. My bump didn’t catch up for another 4 months.  More than one person asked if I had gotten implants for Christmas. No I got pregnant for Christmas, but that only became obvious around Memorial Day!

So far, what has surprised you most during your pregnancy?
I’m surprised by how happy and healthy I feel even at 8+ months. I thought I’d feel miserable but I still feel like myself, just a little bigger!

What’s been your favorite pregnancy piece or brand to show off your bump?
I received a few hand me down Tart (non-maternity) maxi dresses from a girlfriend who was pregnant through the summer a couple years ago. They’re my favorite pieces by far. I love maxis but being a petite woman with curves, they often made me look pregnant when I wasn’t. Now that I am pregnant, I’m rocking the look!

I’ve also really enjoyed a pair of white maternity skinny jeans I bought at the Gap in the early spring. I don’t know that I would’ve worn them in my pre-pregnancy life but they were the only ones that weren’t full panel so I gave them a try. They look awesome with some of the more colorful and flowy tops I’ve acquired. In addition to being easy to dress up with heels and jewelry, I’m sure I’ll get use out of them for a few months post baby as well!

What NYC experience are you most looking forward to sharing with your baby?
I’ve lived here for over 20 years, I’m looking forward to seeing it all anew through her eyes.
