Cravings: Smorgasburg

It’s open season at New York’s finest food festival.

It’s my favorite season. Spring, you ask? Oh no, it’s Smorgasburg Season, when pregnant women can indulge in every craving imaginable and hone all of their foodie knowledge at the same time and place. Smorgasburg, if you’ve been so unkindly deprived, is a weekly Williamsburg waterfront food festival of inventive global dishes made by area chefs, with an emphasis on local ingredients and ethical production. Oh, and the views of the NYC skyline aren’t half bad either. Here are our favorite Smorgasburg stands for bump-pampering meals and snacks that will leave non-preggers with ravenous cravings.

April 6 through November, Saturdays at the North 6th Street waterfront in Williamsburg, Sundays at the waterfront tobacco factory under the Brooklyn Bridge in Dumbo.
